Automation needs a cadence

A workflow does not become reliable because it ran once. It needs an operating rhythm: a named owner, a review cadence, a way to inspect exceptions, and a method for deciding when sources or rules should change.

Use a simple operating record

Track the workflow purpose, trigger, inputs, exceptions, review owner, and latest learning. This keeps the implementation connected to the business problem rather than leaving it as a disconnected technical artifact.

Scale only after the route is legible

When the team can explain what the automation does, what it does not do, and who owns the decisions around it, scaling becomes a deliberate choice rather than an uncontrolled expansion.
