Name the bottleneck before selecting a remedy

A declining lead flow can be blamed on design, SEO, ads, copy, or a form. Those labels describe surfaces, not necessarily the cause. A website diagnostic distinguishes between people not arriving, the right people arriving without understanding, people understanding without trusting, and people trusting without taking action.

Each pattern requires different work. More traffic cannot repair a service page that fails to state the audience and outcome. More visual polish cannot substitute for proof. A shorter form cannot compensate for an offer that has not been made concrete.

Use an evidence-first review

Inspect search queries, entry pages, page relationships, decision language, and the final handoff. Ask what each page promises, which source supports the promise, and where a visitor can move next. Keep observations separate from assumptions so a redesign does not simply make an old uncertainty look newer.

Turn the diagnosis into a scoped intervention

The output should be a short ranked list: the buyer question, the missing system element, the affected route, and the smallest intervention that can test the change. This creates a sequence for website work that is easier to govern and explain.
